Access to São Gonçalo do Bação can be done in two ways, starting from Itabirito. One of them, although paved, is winding and busy, the road most used by tourists, residents and service cars. It is essential to pay close attention, since it is also possible to find animals on the track, ground in risky conditions (mud, pond water) and fog.
The other road, in addition to all the risks mentioned above, is a dirt road. Gravel, dust, constant mud can pose an even greater risk.
