Cachoeira do Rasgão
Narrativa
The waterfall is formed in the bed of Córrego do Saboeiro or as it is better known, Córrego do Rasgão, Macedo region, close to Pousadas Boninas. The term tear, according to reports, stems from excavations due to mining activity, in a mountain range during the gold cycle, made by slaves. The stream was diverted to wash the gold exploited in the vicinity, and for this reason it received the name “tear”.
