Antônio de Paula Alley
Old path that connects the Church Square to the Areal Street, reaching the cross and the fountain made by José Vitor in this location.
It connects the Church Square (or Padre Benedito Firmino Square) and Firmino’s Alley to the Areal Street (former Arraial Street). It is outlined by dry stone walls, which delimit the backyards of the residences. The floor shows traces of the old cladding in irregular stone blocks. A small stretch, close to the Church Square, was covered with concrete blocks. Of great scenic beauty and pleasant ambience, shaded by the large trees in the backyards and with a gentle slope, it surprises you when you reach its ends, where you can see the Church Square and the Areal Cross Square with its fountain. It is 190m long.
