The district immortalizes and preserves its history, culture and traditions through stagings by the S\u00e3o Gon\u00e7alo do Ba\u00e7\u00e3o Theater Group. In addition to the waterfalls, spouts, houses, the Igreja Matriz and the chapel of Ros\u00e1rio make up the beautiful landscape of the district. <br\/> By 1830, S\u00e3o Gon\u00e7alo do Ba\u00e7\u00e3o had approximately 14 commercial establishments according to the Administrative Scientific and Literary Industrial Almanac of Ouro Preto.
